Specialized Evaluation Support for School Districts

Hannah Aeling, school-based speech-language pathologist providing contract evaluation services for school districts.

Throughout my experience as a school-based speech-language pathologist, I consistently observed the growing demands placed on campus clinicians. In addition to direct therapy services, school-based SLPs are often responsible for evaluations, report writing, ARD meetings, compliance timelines, documentation requirements, and multidisciplinary collaboration while managing large caseloads.

While supporting campuses with high evaluation demands, I discovered a strong interest in the evaluation process and multidisciplinary collaboration involved in determining student needs within educational settings.

Dedicated evaluation support allows school teams to maintain compliance timelines while reducing workload demands placed on campus clinicians. By helping distribute evaluation responsibilities more effectively, school-based SLPs are able to spend more time focused on direct student services.

Today, I provide contracted speech-language evaluation services for school districts, including initial evaluations, re-evaluations, autism & speech evaluations, expedited reports, and additional compliance-related support. My goal is to provide organized, thorough, and collaborative evaluation services that help support both students and the school teams serving them.
